in a dream but wide awake
i never thought this was fake

life has played a joke on me again
made me see sun after the pain

i thought it was real,
that it was wonderful

i was about to be happy
but it's just a dream , don't you see?

uncomfortable, uneasy
frown is seen in everybody

the temperature's rising
people are complaining

pools are full, fans are on
a little relief, a little satisfaction
